The Burgundy Bag: This Autumn’s Must-Have Accessory
The burgundy bag is undoubtedly this autumn’s must-have accessory, and they can bring new life to the clothes you already have.
The colour works so well with lots of other colours so you may be surprised just how many outfits you can make with one, and if you don’t own one maybe it’s something you could introduce into your wardrobe.
Burgundy Bag With Green
A colour it looks terrific with is khaki or olive green. You could make an outfit up with whatever you’ve got in those two colours in your wardrobe.
A smart outfit idea would be green wide-leg trousers, a burgundy top, and maybe perhaps you could add a burgundy biker jacket and then add the burgundy bag.
Or if you have a green coat in your wardrobe that perhaps you’ve had for a while and you’re looking for new ways to wear it, you could wear the burgundy bag with it.
BURGUNDY BAG AND NAVY
There are many ways to wear a burgundy bag with navy and many combinations. It doesn’t have to be top to toe navy, and it can be as simple as some dark indigo blue jeans that look like navy and paired with a burgundy bag.
It could be included in a blue and white stripe outfit with a navy coat or worn with a navy jumper and some beige bottoms or even some jeans.
I’ve tried it top to toe navy with a navy sweater, navy coat, and navy trousers, and I’ve just added a burgundy bag.
I like the simplicity of the colour combination, they’re two of my favourites, and they are two expensive-looking colours that when you pair them together, they really do look fantastic.

The Burgundy Bag with Patterns
A burgundy bag looks great with any check or plaid. Especially with checks in warmer tones like browns and creams.
If you are going to add the burgundy bag, the check could be any piece: a shirt, trousers, a jacket, even a scarf. And perhaps you’ve got something in your wardrobe that you could try it with.

BURGUNDY BAG WITH GREY
Another colour it looks good with is grey. it could be a solid grey outfit or with a grey plaid.
But another way to mix it would be to introduce some camel to the outfit. So camel, grey, and burgundy. Maybe you’ve got a camel coat, and you could wear that with a grey sweater underneath with the burgundy bag. It’s a nice simple combination that looks terrific together and possibly quite easy to put together too.
Grey and burgundy look lovely worn together, as do burgundy and camel worn together. So if you blend those two colours and include the burgundy, it’s a terrific combination.
I’ve only just scratched the surface of colours that work really well with the burgundy bag.
